"For years we used another firm to supply our scientific and labor needs. But like any major multi-national corporation, we're challenged to find ways to lower costs without sacrificing quality. It was with that in mind that we began to search for a company that could keep our bottom line in mind, yet still provide us with top-tier talent. We found that firm in S&S Professional Services."

COST CONTROL

Let’s face it. It’s expensive to hire new employees. The cost of placing the ads;
the time spent sifting through hundreds of résumés and interviewing; training
the new employee; and the lost productivity while getting the new employee
up-to-speed can equate to thousands of dollars. So when you are sizing us up
in relation to our competitors, our affordability might tip the scales in our favor. Allow us to explain.

When you come to us, you get more than just placement assistance. You get a
costeffective extension of your human resources department. We assume all
the costs associated with recruiting—tracking down qualified candidates,
verifying information and investing in the latest technology for résumé retrieval.
After you decide to hire an S&S employee, you’ll only pay a flat hourly fee based
on the employee’s skill level.

While an S&S temporary professional is working in your facility, we’ll also
assume the costs associated with payroll taxes, benefits administration, payroll
deductions, tax withholding, workman’s compensation, necessary certifications
and drug screening. Upon completion of the assignment, you won’t be liable for
severance pay or unemployment payments. Additionally, temporary employees
are not included in overhead costs, further lowering your capital expenditure.

S&S employees know that they’ll enjoy the benefits of medical, dental and
supplemental insurance, paid holidays, paid vacation, direct deposit, weekly
paychecks, and credit union services. As a result, they can spend time focusing
on your job needs, not administrative details. In our experience, happy
employees are productive employees.
